The Downward Spiral Vinyl Re-release
You may have heard there’s a new re-release of The Downward Spiral on vinyl. I heard that, too. I have no idea what it is or what’s on it because the band has had no involvement in it.

If Trent have no idea about it, what can we know…
I like cash-face. He looks so sad.
How come? Were your copyrights so badly managed then?
Power to the artists!
Hm.. somethin screwy.
You get your freedom and they still manage to suck more outta ya hey? Well, at least you are free and you seem to be thriving. So, focus on the good, and if you can sue the bastards, haha.
Despite Universal’s attempt to capitalize on the NIN name, Trent will still see royalties from this, I’m sure. Having no control over what they release from the past is irritating, but this really isn’t anything to get over-excited about from the artist’s standpoint. At least as far as I can see. This post from the NIN camp was more than likely just a news brief to let us all know that he had nothing to do with this re-release.
MONEY NONEY MONEY-MONEY!
Great!! Corporate greed wins again!!

I’m buying it. This is something Trent should have done himself instead of shitting on our faces three times in a row with Year Zero, Ghosts, and The Slip. I hope they re-release The Fragile on vinyl too.
Jedediah, what do you mean by shitting on us with those three releases? As is price or quality or what? I’ll probably end up buying it too. I bought the radiohead re-releases too. Something is better than nothing.
I bought it for 25 bucks instead of paying 10x more for the original release on ebay.
